WRQ Reflection Product of Choice for Nissan Motor
Tuesday, 25 January 2005WRQ (HQ: Seattle, Wash., U.S.A; president and CEO Shaun Wolfe) today announced that Nissan Motor (HQ: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; president Carlos Ghosn), one of the world's largest auto manufacturers and a longtime WRQ customer, has continuously selected WRQ Reflection(R) software to extend and enhance the efficiency and productivity of its nationwide Nissan auto dealership systems in Japan. Nissan will upgrade and expand its use of WRQ Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS, a VT/OpenVMS terminal emulator, which has provided Nissan's auto and parts dealers stable host access for seven years.
In 1997, WRQ Reflection was chosen to be part of Nissan's mission critical dealer systems, which handles such company processes as ordering, inventory, billing, services and insurance. Since that time, Reflection has been deployed to over 200 auto and parts dealers in Japan. WRQ Reflection for UNIX and OpenVMS provides users UNIX host access from mobile PCs and desktop PCs, allowing them to search various information and use business applications daily.
